Masa Harina Cornbread

Ingredients

½ cup butter, melted

¾ cup AP flour

1 ¼ cup masa harina

¼ cup sugar

1 Tbs baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 cups milk

2 eggs

Directions

Heat oven to 400 and grease and flour pan.
Whisk together flour, masa, sugar baking powder, and salt. In another bowl whisk melted butter, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour liquid ingredients over dry and mix until just combined. Mixture will be lumpy.
Scrape batter into pan and smooth top. Bake until edges are golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 35 minutes.
Remove pan from oven and let cool 10 minutes. Invert and cut into wedges.
